Joanna and I love celebrating the inspiring women who are making waves in the financial services industry! Today, we are sharing some exciting updates for the WomenShare podcast that you'll see in the coming days.

WomenShare is evolving. Originally launched as "A Marketing Guide for Women in Financial Services," the podcast will embrace a broader mission with fresh positioning as "A Celebration of Women in Financial Services." Why the Update?

Both of us have marketing backgrounds, but we found our true connection in our passion for supporting women in the industry. While marketing was a natural starting point for the show, the content our audience is most engaged with revolves around guests' career stories, lessons learned, and experiences promoting gender equality.

So we've taken note! By prioritizing content that resonated most with YOU, WomenShare is aligning its focus with the needs of its community. The refreshed tagline, "A Celebration of Women in Financial Services," opens the door to a wider range of stories. From marketing gurus and financial advisors to operations leaders and investment experts, every woman has valuable experiences to share.

Founder of Marketing by Foxie

Marketing by Foxie was founded by Leah Alter. After spending many years in New York City in the entertainment and events industry, she moved to Austin, TX and joined an independent Broker-Dealer and RIA.

At the Broker-Dealer/RIA she spent her first few years on the business development team, later transitioning to the business consulting team as the dedicated marketing consultant. There, she spent several years working directly with advisors helping them brand and market themselves in a highly regulated industry. Leah led many marketing workshops, conferences, and programs. She did both one-on-one and one-to-many engagements. One of her marketing programs was nominated twice for a Wealthmanagement.com Award. She also spent time on the marketing team, helping to package and deliver the products and services of the institution to their financial professionals.

Leah had the opportunity to join a digital marketing agency that specifically serves the financial services and FinTech industries. While there, she got the inside scoop and the opportunity to learn from a variety of marketing specialists.

Most recently, Leah was Vice President of Marketing at a FinTech company. Her focuses were on simplifying the branding and messaging, establishing thought leadership via social media, and launching a new, engaging website.

Leah is a passionate marketer, dedicated to helping her clients succeed.
